Everybody’s a Critic: Art Vandal accused of Criminal Mischeif

A Montana woman accused of taking a crowbar to controversial artwork for religious reasons pleaded not guilty Friday in Colorado. Kathleen Folden, 56, of Kalispell, Mont., was arrested at the Loveland, Colo., Museum and accused of destroying a controversial artwork. According to police she used a crowbar to smash a display case containing a print that critics say portrays Jesus engaged in a sex act. She then tore it up and was arrested.
She is charged with one count of criminal mischief, a felony which carries a penalty of between two and six years.
