Louise Carron

Louise Carron currently works as the Publishing, Media & Entertainment Attorney at Penguin Random House. She previously advised clients as an Associate at Klaris Law PLLC from 2021 to 2025, and served as the Executive Director with the Center for Art Law from 2019 to 2021. Ms. Carron is primarily focused on contractual matters, copyright use, First Amendment, and new technologies. Ms. Carron enjoys teaching workshops on legal basics for artists and is a regular contributor to the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law (EASL) Journal published by the New York State Bar Association, writing about street art, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and copyright issues. Ms. Carron pursued her legal studies in France at the Université Paris Nanterre, where she earned a double Bachelor’s degree in French law and Common Law, followed by a Master’s degree in Comparative Business Law. She also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Ms. Carron is the Assistant Secretary of the EASL Section and a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Copyright & Literary Property Committee.
