Louise Carron

Louise Carron, associate at Klaris Law PLLC, served as the Executive Director with Center for Art Law from 2019 to 2021. Ms. Carron advises content creators, start-ups, and nonprofits across creative industries and primarily focused on contractual matters, copyright use, First Amendment and new technologies. Ms. Carron enjoys teaching workshops on legal basics for artists and is a regular contributor to the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law (EASL) Journal published by the New York State Bar Association, writing about street art, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and copyright issues. Ms. Carron pursued her legal studies in France at the Université Paris Nanterre, where she earned a double Bachelor’s degree in French law and Common Law, followed by a Master’s degree in Comparative Business Law. She also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Ms. Carron is a co-chair of the Publicity, Privacy and Media Committee of EASL Section and a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee.
