Visual Artists’ Immigration Clinic (Apr. 2, 2025)

The Visual Artists’ Immigration Clinic is designed to guide emerging and established international visual artists through the process of obtaining a visa to the United States.
After a keynote presentation on alternative immigration paths beyond the O visa, delivered by Cielomar Puccio, attendees with consultation tickets were paired with one of the Center’s volunteer attorneys for a confidential 20-minute consultation. Limited slots are available for the consultation sessions.
Date & Time:
The Clinic took place on April 2, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm EDT.
Schedule:
- 5:30–6:00 PM EST: Introductory Remarks by Cielomar Puccio.
- 6:00–8:00 PM EST: Individual 20-min consultations.
Location:
The entirety of the Clinic was held virtually on Zoom. The one-on-one consultations took place in breakout rooms to ensure confidentiality.

Speaker: Cielomar Puccio
Cielomar Puccio is a bar licensed attorney in Puerto Rico and Washington, DC. She has a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Bachelors of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations also from the University of Puerto Rico. She has more than 10 years of experience in law. Mrs. Puccio is also a ballet dancer. Her passion for the arts, especially ballet, motivated her to open her legal practice, Brandllet. She seeks to provide specialized legal advice to her fellow artists, among other businesses, with the advantage of having experience in the dance industry.
