Catalogues Raisonnés and The Law
June 5, 2025
About this Event:
A catalogue raisonné is a definitive published compilation identifying the known works of a specific artist. Collectors, dealers, art researchers, and foundations should be aware of the unique legal issues that can arise out of the creation and use of these important resources. In this workshop, Grossman LLP attorneys Kate Lucas and Jacqueline Jakimowicz discuss participants with an overview of legal issues to keep in mind when building or consulting a catalogue raisonné, as well as relevant court decisions on the topic.
