    Institute for Art and Law (IFKUR eV): The institute pursues the non-profit purpose of promoting scholarship, research, and teaching on legal issues arising in various fields. These include the protection of cultural property at all levels of the legal system, the protection of international loans between museums, the restitution of works of art stolen during the Holocaust, archaeological finds and cultural assets that were taken out of the country as a result of the war, trade fair and auction law, tax, foundation and insurance law as well as export and criminal law in connection with the trade of works of art and also copyright, ancillary copyright and media law.     University of Münster: Art Law Clinic This program is a cooperation between the Academy of Fine Arts Münster and the Institute of Information, Telecommunication and Media law – Civil Law Department. Upper-level law students provide art students with assistance with basic legal issues that arise during their studies.     Università degli Studi di Firenze UNIFI Art and Law Executive Course: This three-day art law course focuses on the specialized legal practice related to the creation, purchase, sale and transfer of works of art, explores and analyzes the intersection of law with art and culture. It is expected to analyze the artist-dealer relationship through the effective recognition of consignment contracts from the point of view of both the artist and the dealer; the study of the legislation of auctions and private sales and the evaluation of any regulatory changes; the analysis of the rights of the artist, of issues related to copyright, with particular reference to the position of artists, moral rights and resale rights; the analysis of tax planning and succession needs for collectors and artists, with the inclusion of tax and estate planning aspects of charitable contributions, the drafting of wills and the transfer of works of art from generation to generation.     University of Auckland Faculty of Art: Art Crime explores the growing trend of art crime through a focus on theft, illicit antiquities, looting, vandalism and forgery. These will be examined within the context of global and New Zealand case studies, including the theft of the “Mona Lisa” in 1911, Nazi looting in World War II and thefts during the Iraq War in 2003.
