Stephanie Drawdy

Stephanie Drawdy is an American artist, attorney, educator and host of Warfare of Art and Law podcast. After graduating from New York Law School, she served on the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee and received a diploma in Art Profession Law and Ethics from London’s Institute of Art and Law. Stephanie volunteers with New York’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, writes on art law issues for academic blogs and journals, including the Institute of Art and Law’s quarterly Art Antiquity and Law Journal, and she was a contributing author for the Second Edition of Museums and the Holocaust. In addition to practicing law and freelance writing, Stephanie balances her time between speaking and teaching on art law issues, including the implications of emerging technology on art and law; hosting 2ND Saturday Art & Justice online gatherings as part of her non-profit Art Haus for Justice; and maintaining a painting practice with an emphasis on portraiture.
