Who We Are

Headquartered in Brooklyn with an outpost in Zürich, CH, the Center for Art Law is a nonprofit institution that offers educational resources and programming for the advancement of a vibrant arts and law community.

From its humble origins as a blog in 2009, the Center evolved into a go-to leader in the field that provides learning opportunities to a worldwide community. Today, the Center is the only independent art law entity in the United States dedicated to research and training, learning and sharing law and visual arts information for the benefit of artists, students, lawyers, academics, and many more.
