Artist Legacy & Estate Planning Clinic
June 30, 2026
About the Event
The Center for Art Law’s Artist Legacy and Estate Planning Clinic brought together visual artists for an evening of low-cost consultations with attorneys, tax experts, and other arts professionals with experience in legacy and estate planning.
After a short guest lecture on a legacy and estate planning topic, attendees with consultation tickets were paired with one of the Center’s volunteer professionals (attorneys, appraisers and financial advisors) for a confidential 20-minute pro bono consultation. Limited slots were available for the consultation sessions.
The Clinic occurred June 30, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM ET.
Schedule
- 5:30 – 6:00 PM EST: Introductory Remarks
- 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST: Individual Consultations
The entirety of the Clinic was hosted virtually on Zoom. The one-on-one consultations took place in breakout rooms to ensure confidentiality.
